Indianapolis Rest Day

July 9 Rest Day

We are all glad for a rest day. It gives us a chance to clean and oil the bikes, buy supplies, get organized, eat green leafy vegetables, and just recuperate.

After sleeping in, I went to the Eiteljorg Native American and West Museum, which had a wonderful photo exhibit, and lots of American Indian arts and crafts.

The Eiteljorg Museum is just blocks from our hotel.

Exercise class on the lawn in front of the Indiana state house.

A search through town for an electronics part was unsuccessful, but led me to the Kurt Vonnegut Library and Museum.

This may be the one regret of the trip. I did not go inside the bar called "Bad Axe Throwing". Well, that gives me a reason to come back.

These scooters are all the rage. Allan could not resist trying one out.
